Ehrlich Edges Closer to Running
According to Adam Pagnucco over at the Maryland Politics Watch former Governor Robert Ehlich is edging closer to running against Governor Martin O'Malley. The O'Malley campaign recently released internal poll results showing O'Malley had a ten point lead over Ehrlich in a hypothetical match. On the same day, Stu Rothenberg downgraded O'Malley's chances from 'Safe' to 'Narrow Margin'. According to Rothenberg, Ehrlich is actively interviewing staff members for a rematch against O'Malley, who beat him by 6.5 percentage points in 2006.
